Ocean Casitas
The four Ocean Casitas are at the very top of the whitewashed fishermen's village of Azenhas do Mar with a large private terrace right to the edge of the cliff. The small houses were fully-rebuilt combining the cosiness of the original Portuguese fishermen homes with contemporary design such as open-space layouts, micro-cement flooring and up to 5m high ceilings.

At the end of winding streets, paths and stairs through the tiny village of Azenhas do Mar somewhat surprisingly a gate opens to the property of OUTPOST - Ocean Casitas, a wide ocean terrace with four houses.
Sun-set terrace
The spectacular 800sqm west-facing terrace reaches all the way to the vertical cliff. The terrace turned tropical garden is nicely protected from the predominant north winds by the L-shaped layout of the buildings. The various seating corners along the cliff edge invite for a sun-downer to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks 60m below.
Underfloor Heating
While we enjoy good weather most of the year, conditions can get rough sometimes. All casitas have underfloor heating, and all 2-bedroom casitas also have fireplaces. Ocean breeze and thick stone walls make sure no air condition is ever needed.
Private terrace
Every Ocean Casita has its own private sun-exposed terrace with a set of traditional Portuguese table and chairs.
COMFORTABLE BEDS
A good night sleep is crucial for a relaxing stay. Our beds, mattresses, pillows and bedding are from Coco Mat, handmade in Northern Greece, using naturally replenished raw materials, such as cotton, seaweed, wool and wood.
BREAKFAST BASKET
We can bring a breakfast basket in the morning with an assortment of fresh local products (fresh orange juice, tea, coffee, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, jam, fruits, butter, etc.) for you to make your own breakfast. Please add this option when booking your apartment, depending our your choices it's between EUR 20 and EUR 25 per person.
Fully-equipped Kitchens
All our Ocean Casitas have a fully-equipped kitchen with pots, pans, coffee machines etc. for a relaxed self-catering stay. Cooking basics like organic olive oil, salt, pepper and vinegar are available. We can arrange a private chef or BBQ master or food deliveries if you feel lazy.
ARTISAN PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS
We provide organic shower gel, shampoo and soap for your stay. Our personal care products are based on various cold-pressed nut oils, produced by local cosmetics artisans of Oliofora
